Newest additions...

we planted pumpkin seeds! we start them in a little 'green house' type thing, then transfer them to the garden once they've sprouted. I CANT WAIT =)

the garden has also been EXPANDED.. a little!
along w/ a wonderful shade. it looks like a freakin' nursery out there!

and.... do you SEE what i SEE?
yep.. that is our very own CORN people.

we ended w/ quite a few, but these 3 were the best of them. most did not do so well, but we are learning.. it was our first time..

the kids were so proud!

this was fun to watch. leuscher thought he was gonna eat the corn, but the chickens thought otherwise! the chickens go CRAZY for corn on the cob..they wanted it bad.

well... we've finally added a door to the storage room (finally) and put up the AC unit. cant wait to fill it up now. we planted corn in the garden and are waiting for the pumpkin seeds to sprout so they can join the garden. the chickens are still here & i cant believe how much we all love watching them and holding them.

we have a HUGE list of things to still accomplish.. but everyone is healthy & happy and enjoying our 'new life'. HAHA

That is AWESOME!!! I have tried gardening food a few times in UT but nothing like that has ever come out of it. I am impressed!
I do miss our chats on the couch during primary and I am jealous that you are getting to watch that sweet nixon boy grow up but did you hear? He's gonna be a big brother and now I am SUPER jealous that you get to hold that Sharp too. Waa! haha I do love going to RS though. hehe

You are the COOLEST Diane! Oh and we totally missed the gardening class. They had it last week while I was down and out. (got in an accident and was drugged up really well) They tell me that the handouts are in the folder that goes around in RS so have your ma grab one for ya.
