the room is finally in the finishing stages!!!!! drywall is complete, its been textured, and now we're moving on to painting..


gotta love home depot and their $5 oops paint! the room was going to be whatever color they had.. assuming it wasn't fuchsia or anything.



and this is why you should hire a professional!!
(just kidding)... hes done such an AWESOME job!!

and this is what compost is up to these days. COMPOST! its starting to break down now. we add grass, chicken poop, fruits/veggies/peels. its completely strange to look in there and it DOESNT stink, but its starting to look like dirt. it just totally breaks down. all it needs is water occasionally and it bakes in the nice HOT sun all day!!!!

and how pretty are my flowers!!! they are blooming so good. i'm proud of our work and that the flowers are still ALIVE!!

i was taking pictures at dusk... and the chickens were wondering what the heck i was doing... so i took a picture of them. (they go to bed when the sun goes down) i probably blinded them w/ the flash!!

AND.... first day of school pics... FINALLY!

she was SO excited for her Hello Kitty backpack!

there goes my Boo Boo... off to 4th grade!! (4th grade... seriously... )

i couldn't even take her picture she was so mopey!!!

everyday she screams that she hates school and isn't going. but whenever we pick her back up.. shes smiling cz her day couldn't be better. i think shes just adjusting to the routine!
