That Spark. . .

One of those 'THINGS' I do, or a talent, or hobby...whatever you call it, is writing poetry. I can actually just sit down w/ a certain thought, and the sentences come out on the paper. There have been times where I start one, and then don't finish it, but for the most part I can ROCK IT and out comes a poem- - this was one of those times.
I don't usually share them, but I figured most of us felt this way about those handsome fellas we're married to!! So in order to truly make this post REMOTELY ANY GAY-ER!!! This one goes out to all my sisters!!!

What makes a touch give such a spark?
How does it burn but leave no mark?
This isn't new---in fact it's old,
"the flame will die" I have been told.
The years grow on- and people change,
How's loves light still to stay the same?
A touch of hands, a brush of cheek...
He's left me here with knees so weak!
I've skipped a beat--I have no words,
Am I awake?..'Cause I'm not sure.
His gentle had that made that spark..
Is why we'll never be apart.
editors note: after I wrote this poem and showed it to Kevin (he was half asleep)..he said, 'oh cool'--and then I asked myself..why did I marry him & why did I just write this poem????I promise!

Wow--poetry and piano and...you need to reveal another talent that starts with a "P"! That is a great poem--you should write greeting cards--seriously! I was thinking how nice that would be to give to someone as a little love poem for a holiday or birthday.
